Daniel Bruce House, a resident of Agoura, is currently being held at the Lost Hills Sheriff Station, having been charged with the sexual assault and abuse of a number of horses at three ranches in the area. House, who is on probation in a previous animal-neglect case, has been charged with five felony and five misdemeanor counts, and is being held on $250,000 bail.
The serious nature of these crimes, and the fact that House may be a repeat offender, demands that the case be vigorously pursued by the District Attorney and, if the suspect is convicted, the maximum penalty be imposed.
I, THEREFORE, MOVE that this Board hereby request that the District Attorney pursue the conviction of the individual charged with these crimes, and with a conviction he also pursue the maximum penalty allowed under law.
